ZT600 Series Industrial Printers
Is Your Business Ready for the Industrial Printing Revolution?
If you’re a performance-driven organization, then you’re always looking for opportunities to enhance efficiency, make continuous improvements, and reduce costs. Printers may not usually come to mind when you’re thinking about strategic improvements, but they should and here’s why.
Upgrading to more user-friendly, adaptable, and future-ready industrial printers can make a world of difference in keeping your operations flowing seamlessly. They enable easier loading of media, minimize maintenance requirements, provide micro-consistent printing, and allow you to easily connect and integrate your printers with current and future systems, including the ability to add new functionality as your needs change.
A great example is the new ZT600 Series of industrial printers from our partners at Zebra Technologies.
With the ZT600 Series, Zebra has combined industrial brawn with next-generation brains to create an extremely durable, future-proof, and amazingly user-friendly solution. It supports all your industrial printing and labeling needs, including small-label printing as well as RFID capabilities.
Here’s a breakdown of what these printers do and how they provide the adaptability to meet your printing and technology needs for years to come, without requiring expensive upgrades or replacements.
Zebra’s Revolutionary ZT600 Series Industrial Printers
Zebra’s new ZT600 Series printers are built with the same outstanding durability and reliability as their industry-leading predecessor, the Xi4 Series. They’re built to withstand the demands and rigors of industrial printing, with an array of new improvements.
More User-Friendly Design
The ZT600 Series provides simple, intuitive side loading of media. This user-friendly design makes it easy to change media, and the printer’s interior even illuminates the ribbon and media paths to point users in the right direction.
A highly visible color display makes it easy to interact with the device. Color-coded touch points and icons guide you every step of the way, and there’s even local language support.
The display turns red if there’s ever an error, or yellow if your printer is paused. These indicators are clearly visible, even from a distance, and the printer even offers QR codes that link to help videos if users need troubleshooting help.
Future-Ready Adaptability
Zebra wanted to make these printers truly future-proof, so they feature a flexible design that enables hardware updates in the field. This includes adding RFID capabilities, a label rewinder, or a cutter. If you don’t need these features at first, you can easily add them later.
Zebra also offers adaptable connectivity. Standard connectivity options include serial, USB, gigabit Ethernet, and Bluetooth. Two open communication slots make it easy to add more connectivity methods, including 802.11a/c, parallel, Ethernet, IPv6, and an applicator interface.
Micro-Consistent Printing for Small Labels
One of the ZT600 Series’ biggest innovations is greater support for high-quality small labels. Zebra delivers 600 dpi printing for labels as small as 3mm, making these printers ideal for circuit boards, chips, and miniature components. They also provide highly precise registration and print line adjustment to ensure every label is accurately printed.
Easy Printer Integration & Management
Zebra’s Link-OS printer operating system allows your printers to be managed and monitored remotely, so you don’t need on-site IT staff. Visibility services also provide real-time insight into each printer’s status, usage, and functionality.
Link-OS also includes applications, utilities, and developer tools to help you easily create and customize robust, adaptable, and intelligent printing applications and solutions for your unique business demands.
