To our Peak Technologies Customers,
When we began communicating our response plan for COVID-19 in mid-March, our goal was clear: keep our employees, partners, and customers safe while providing critical products and services our customers need to run their daily operations. We acted quickly to realign our resources, adjust our processes, and raise our safety protocol in support of that goal. We remain committed to continue operation under that directive as the world moves through the next stages of this pandemic.
Over the last few months, the headlines have focused on the real and scary challenges we collectively face: the growing number of infected, the impact on the economy as whole countries shut down, and the skyrocketing unemployment rate. One area that deserves more recognition is the level of compassion and commitment to do good that we are seeing— not just with individuals, or communities, but in our companies and the way we do business on a daily basis.
Every day, I am inspired by our customers who have risen to the challenges presented by COVID-19 and who have responded with dedication and resiliency to ensure that critical goods and services are available. We have seen countless examples of businesses that have been able to shine during this time of crisis, and I am proud of our Peak Technologies team for how we have stepped up to serve with them. We are, truly, all in this together, and I am eager to provide more updates as appropriate.
Here are just a few examples of how the Peak Technologies team is working with our valued customers during this tenuous time:
· As IT departments rush to implement technology to enable remote working and learning, we are quickly rolling up our sleeves to help our customers secure wireless hot spots that can be utilized quickly— all while supply chain availability for these critical products has been extremely fluid.
· Several of our long-time customers shifted their focus to help stop the spread of COVID-19 by transitioning manufacturing of their core products to critical PPE. In some cases, these companies had to quickly retool their manufacturing and distribution operations and we were able to quickly supply them with the necessary technology to support those new lines.
· With stay-at-home orders in place, we have been helping customers in grocery and package delivery ensure they can meet the surge in demand. Just as important, our solutions are helping to enable critical medical supply chain networks.
· We are very proud of our frontline customer service engineers (CSEs), where every day is a new challenge. Our CSEs have long-standing relationships with our customers, working side by side with them to ensure correct safety protocols are being implemented and followed. In many cases, mission-critical supply chain equipment and technology used in medical facilities needed immediate repair to bring these key systems back online.
As we think about the next stage of re-opening, we have a responsibility to keep our customers safe as they return to work under new COVID-19 safety mandates. Our team is focused on building new solutions that help to mitigate the risk of infection by enabling safe operations. This includes everything from signage to direct customers and employees, to distancing/contact tracing solutions, and device disinfecting tools. We know your business will be different, and we are changing what we do to make sure we can assist with your transition to more customary operations.
We continue our mission to deliver enterprise solutions for a more digitally-connected supply chain and mobile workforce, but our commitment goes beyond the technology and solutions we have traditionally provided. We have rapidly built a new portfolio of solutions that will help our customers keep their operations productive by keeping their workforce safe.
